New Relic Names Peter Marelas As Chief Architect For APAC, Japan


* Seasoned tech chief to bolster Observability practice and drive data-driven engineering for customers

New Relic, Inc. (NYSE: NEWR), the Observability company, today announced the appointment of Peter Marelas as Chief Architect for Asia Pacific and Japan. Marelas will be responsible for empowering customers to establish and optimise Observability as a data-driven practice across every stage of the software development lifecycle. By consulting with customers on people, process, policy and technology, he aims to help customers realise greater benefits from their Observability investments.

Marelas brings more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Most recently, he was Chief Technology Officer, Asia Pacific Japan for Dell Technologies, Data Protection Solutions. Prior to Dell he held senior roles at EMC, Telstra, Symantec, VERITAS Software and Storage Technologies. He is currently completing a Masters in Data Science and holds seven patents relating to data management, data storage, machine learning and cloud.
