Luxury Motorcycle Brand Ducati India has introduced the all-new 2025 Panigale V4, the pinnacle of superbike technology, in the Indian market. Born by profoundly evolving the bike that won the Superbike World Championship for two consecutive years, the new Panigale V4 has undergone a complete rethink in terms of design, technical base, ergonomics and electronics, thanks to the experience of Ducati’s racing department Ducati Corse, which has dominated MotoGP, the topmost form of two-wheeled racing since 2022.
Commenting on the launch of the new Panigale V4 in India, Mr. Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, said, "I am very proud to have launched the 2025 Panigale V4 in India. The Panigale name is legendary after having ruled the racetracks around the world and we are thrilled to introduce this all-new iteration in India. The demand for high-performance motorcycles is stronger than ever and we see a passionate & evolving community of riders eager to experience the best in superbike segment at the racetrack. With the new Panigale V4, we continue to raise the bar, offering Indian riders a machine that embodies Ducati’s DNA of performance, style and innovation.”
The new Panigale V4 is a motorcycle that allows its riders to experience the sensations of a professional rider thanks to unprecedented electronic solutions and technologies, largely derived from MotoGP. Solutions such as its V4 engine with desmodromic distribution and counter-rotating shaft, or chassis and electronics that are now even closer to those of the official Desmosedici GPs. A motorbike capable of amplifying the riding skills of its rider, whether professional or amateur, offering him the confidence that allows him to push his limits forward in circuit riding.
Ducati's seventh-generation superbike, the Panigale V4, represents a significant shift in design philosophy, integrating aerodynamics seamlessly into the motorcycle's overall form. Unlike previous models, the V4 prioritizes a holistic approach, where aerodynamic profiles are intrinsic to the bike's lines. The new fairing reduces drag and enhances rider protection, while high-efficiency wings maintain downforce. A repositioned fairing improves agility, and optimized cooling systems boost performance. Inspired by the iconic Ducati 916, the Centro Stile Ducati balanced classic aesthetics with MotoGP-derived ergonomics and aerodynamics. The V4 features a horizontal layout reminiscent of MotoGP bikes, a distinctive V-shaped DRL inspired by the 916, a central air intake, and a wider tail for increased rider comfort.
The 2025 Panigale V4 boasts several key improvements:
Integrated Aerodynamic Design: A redesigned fairing reduces aerodynamic resistance by 4% and provides better rider protection. The design takes inspiration from the iconic Ducati 916, blending classic aesthetics with modern MotoGP technology.
Enhanced Ergonomics: The riding position has been optimized for better rider integration and control, with a redesigned seat-tank assembly and repositioned footrests.
Racing-Derived Engine: The Desmosedici Stradale engine, derived from Ducati's MotoGP bike, delivers 216 hp at 13,500 rpm and 12.3 Kgm of torque at 11,250 rpm.
MotoGP-Derived Chassis: The Front Frame was modified and a new double-sided swingarm - Ducati Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm - was developed; lightweight and with an innovative design.
Advanced Electronics: The Panigale V4 features a comprehensive suite of electronic controls, including Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Engine Brake Control, refined by the new Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system.
MotoGP Dashboard: A new 6.9" TFT dashboard with a Track display provides real-time performance data, including lean angle, g-force, and power/torque output.
