* Bringing a Premium Runner Experience to the Heart of Bengaluru
The DHASH Bengaluru Half Marathon (DBHM) is returning for its second edition, bringing Bengaluru’s running community together for a race experience built around performance, accessibility, community and purpose.
This year, the marathon moves to the iconic Kanteerava Stadium, with runners taking on a route through Bengaluru’s Central Business District (CBD), bringing the race into the heart of the city.
Powered by the Bengaluru Runners Association, the second edition builds on the inaugural event’s philosophy of “For the Runners, By the Runners”, with a stronger focus on creating a professionally managed and memorable experience for runners of all levels.
The marathon is driven by the vision of Manjunath N Reddy, Founder & Chairman, DHASH Group, who sees sport as a platform to promote healthier lifestyles, bring communities together and create meaningful social impact.
“Running is much more than covering a distance. It is about discipline, resilience, community and the determination to keep moving forward. With the second edition of the DHASH Bengaluru Half Marathon, our aim is to create a race that puts the runner at the centre while offering an experience that Bengaluru can be proud of. Bringing the marathon to Kanteerava Stadium and through the CBD gives runners an opportunity to experience the city in a completely different way,” said Manjunath N Reddy.
Premium Experience, Accessible to Runners
DBHM aims to combine affordability with a premium race-day experience. From first-time half-marathoners to experienced athletes chasing personal bests, the event is designed around the runner journey, including race-day facilities, community participation and the overall atmosphere along the course.
One Runner. One Tree.
Beyond the race, DBHM is also driven by its “One Runner, One Tree” initiative, connecting every participant’s run with a contribution towards a greener future. The initiative aims to create an impact that extends beyond race day by linking fitness with environmental responsibility.
“An event becomes meaningful when its impact goes beyond the event itself. Through One Runner, One Tree, we want every participant to know that their decision to run can also contribute to creating a greener environment,” added Manjunath N Reddy.
Shreyanka Patil: The Face of DBHM
Adding a strong sporting identity to the second edition is Indian cricketer Shreyanka Patil, who has been announced as the face of the DHASH Bengaluru Half Marathon. Her association reflects the event’s values of determination, preparation, perseverance and the pursuit of excellence.
With Kanteerava Stadium as its anchor and Bengaluru’s CBD as its course, DBHM aims to bring together runners, families, sporting enthusiasts and citizens in a celebration of movement, community and purpose.
At its core, the DHASH Bengaluru Half Marathon stands for one belief:
For the Runners. By the Runners. With a Purpose.
This year, Bengaluru is not just the backdrop to the race. Bengaluru is the course.
