Naila Noushin, a Data
Analyst by profession, bagged the crown of becoming the first ever KOSKII SUPER
BRIDE 2017 at an event held at Royal Orchid hotel in the city today.
Naila won the title
after competing with over 200 brides-to-be who participated in the contest.
Organised for the first time in India by the city-based KOSKII, the most sought
after Indian ethnic occasion-wear brand for women, the contest received very
encouraging response from brides-to-be from the city. Ashwini Punith
Rajkumar was the chief guest for the event.
Elated as she was
after wearing the crown, Naila said, “The Koskii Super Brides contest brought
out the best in me. The entire contest was exciting and I am happy that I
have won the crown”.
Naila has won an
exclusive Koskii Bridal Trousseau, a honeymoon package from Royal Orchid,
jewellery vouchers from Nikhaar apart from other gifts.
“Every woman is beautiful as she is. The Koskii
Supr Brides contest was conceptualised to celebrate the individuality of the
bride-to-be by creating a platform for her to go beyond superficial external
layers of beauty such as height, weight, skin color, fashionable etc. and
express her inner self.” said Umar Akhter,
CEO of KOSKII and the brain behind the contest.
He added, “Over 200
brides-to-be registered for the contest as soon as we went live on social
media. We wanted to make this a lifetime experience for brides-to-be and

The contest saw Ten
brides-to-be, including Naila, shortlisted after which they went on to compete
for the title of being the KOSKII SUPER BRIDE 2017.The other Nine finalists,
