New Range Rover Sport SV is the most powerful and dynamic Range Rover Sport ever, blending supreme performance and dynamism with peerless Range Rover capability, refinement and reductive design. Its array of performance-enhancing technologies includes the most advanced suspension system in its class7 and a sensory audio system with wellness benefits. The modern luxury performance champion takes its place at the pinnacle of a refreshed Range Rover Sport line-up, driving sporting attitude, dynamic ability and assertive presence to the next level.

Inherent to the high-performance credentials of New Range Rover Sport SV, an exclusive airflow-enhanced design delivers a more assertive and grounded aesthetic, with functional lightweight and technical material choices throughout reinforcing its high-performance capabilities.

Powered exclusively by a new 467 kW (635), 750 Nm2 4.4-litre Twin-Turbo MHEV V8 petrol engine – 44 kW (60) and 50 Nm more than the previous generation Range Rover Sport SVR’s Supercharged 5.0-litre V8 – New Range Rover Sport SV is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in as little as 3.6 seconds1 and a top speed of 290 km/h. CO2 emissions are also 15 per cent lower than the previous model’s 422 kW (575) V8.

This outstanding performance is enabled by a combination of features that deliver a weight saving of up to 76 kg1, including the world’s first 58.42 cm (23) Carbon Fibre Wheel option on a production car, Carbon Ceramic Brakes (option available for the first time on a Range Rover), and standard-fit aerodynamic enhancements including a carbon fibre bonnet.

Exemplifying Range Rover’s modern luxury philosophy, New Range Rover Sport SV is initially being reserved for select clients globally, with the invitation-only SV EDITION ONE specification representing a curation of the best feature combinations, colours and finishes. Each Range Rover Sport SV EDITION ONE is enhanced with exclusive branding on the front splitter, centre console, treadplates and puddle lamps. Every Range Rover Sport SV EDITION ONE is already allocated to a Range Rover client.

Geraldine Ingham, Managing Director, Range Rover, said: “New Range Rover Sport SV exemplifies Range Rover’s philosophy, not just as a bold evolution beyond its Range Rover Sport SVR predecessor, but also in the personalised approach we are taking with our most discerning clients.”

REVOLUTIONARY DYNAMICS –

New Range Rover Sport SV’s 6D Dynamics suspension system is the most sophisticated in its class7, debuting a world-first combination of hydraulic interlinked dampers, height-adjustable air springs and pitch control. This revolutionary semi-active system, which removes the need for conventional anti-roll bars, dramatically reduces pitch and roll to maintain a near-level body stance during extreme cornering and acceleration, while also reducing weight, increasing grip, and benefiting comfort and refinement.

Riding between 10 mm and 25 mm lower than other Range Rover Sport models, depending on the drive mode selected, New Range Rover Sport SV’s 6D Dynamics suspension works seamlessly with the suite of advanced chassis and suspension systems. Unique SV-tuned settings are applied to the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, All-Wheel Steering, Torque Vectoring by Braking, Configurable Dynamics and Active Locking Rear Differential to deliver a more focused, sports car-like driving experience – especially in the all-new driver-selectable SV Mode.

Nick Collins, Executive Director, Vehicle Programmes, JLR, said: “New Range Rover Sport SV delivers an optimum blend of supreme performance, unrivalled desirability, capability and refinement. It’s a visceral addition to the Range Rover Sport line-up that powerfully demonstrates the world-class expertise of our high-performance specialists.”

New Range Rover Sport SV also features specially developed chassis components including a new rear subframe and new suspension links with revised geometry and compliance. A new electronically power-assisted steering rack has the fastest ratio of any Range Rover to date, for enhanced agility and feel.

For the first time on a Range Rover, 305-section rear tyres are fitted, which are 20 mm wider than the 285-section front tyres. This arrangement, with standard-fit Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tyres, enables a rear-biased dynamic setup enhancing grip, stability and traction. Increased rear roll stiffness also helps deliver immediate steering responses.

Demonstrating the combined benefits of these technologies, New Range Rover Sport SV is capable of generating lateral acceleration in excess of 1.1 G on all-season tyres. That represents a 22 percent increase on the previous generation Range Rover Sport SVR on summer tyres and is comparable to track-focused sports cars.

Enhancing its on-road dynamic capability, every New Range Rover Sport SV benefits from a specially developed high-performance braking system, with clients able to choose between standard mixed-metal Dual-Cast and optional Carbon Ceramic braking technologies.

Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB), available for the first time on a Range Rover, deliver ultimate braking performance with improved resistance to high temperatures, a longer lifespan and 34 kg total un-sprung weight reduction versus the uprated Dual-Cast iron brake discs fitted as standard to New Range Rover Sport SV. This reduction in mass at each corner of the car results in even more responsive handling, faster acceleration and improved ride quality.

Whichever braking technology is specified, the unique eight-piston Brembo Octyma front calipers are the largest ever fitted to a Range Rover. Developed exclusively for New Range Rover Sport SV and sculpted to complement Range Rover Sport SV’s reductive design, the calipers incorporate a unique cross-shape piston arrangement to maximise braking efficiency. Exclusive customisable caliper colours include Yellow, Red, Carbon Bronze and Black.

To further reduce mass, New Range Rover Sport SV clients can choose the first ultra-lightweight 58.42 cm (23) Carbon Fibre Wheels fitted to a production vehicle. Available as an option, these innovative split five-spoke wheels save almost 9 kg per corner – a total of 35.6 kg – compared with conventional 58.42 cm (23) cast-alloy wheels, resulting in improvements to outright performance, handling and ride quality. While incredibly light, they are engineered and tested to the toughest durability and robustness standards – the same as Range Rover’s cast or forged alloy wheels.

Maximising the benefit of New Range Rover Sport SV’s uprated dynamic hardware, drivers can intensify the car’s sporting attitude by pressing the new SV Mode button on the steering wheel. A step beyond Range Rover Sport’s existing Dynamic mode, SV Mode optimises the steering, eight-speed automatic gearbox, throttle response, exhaust note and 6D Dynamics suspension system – including lowering the ride height by an additional 15 mm – to deliver the most dynamic and visceral experience possible. SV Mode also allows the track-oriented TracDSC stability control programme to be activated, for drivers to more freely explore New Range Rover Sport SV’s dynamic balance.

ASSERTIVE DESIGN –

New Range Rover Sport SV’s high-performance-honed exterior design includes an exclusive airflow-enhanced front-end, reprofiled lower body sides and functional carbon fibre-tipped quad tailpipes for the active exhaust system as focal points of the rear aspect. Carbon fibre detailing on the Range Rover script, front bumper blades, grille surround, bonnet vents and side vents can be supplemented with an exposed finish for the centre section of the carbon fibre bonnet.

Prof. Gerry McGovern OBE, Chief Creative Officer, JLR, said: “New Range Rover Sport SV’s clean and reductive design amplifies its dramatic proportions and sporting personality.”

Inside the cockpit-like cabin, exclusive satin carbon fibre-backed SV Performance Seats feature integrated headrests, more sculpted bolsters and illuminated SV logos on their backrests. A new Ultrafabrics™ PU interior is available, with lightweight, seamless, ‘3D Knit to form’ textile. World-first translucent edge-lit gear shift paddles nestle behind a steering wheel with more pronounced thumb grips, while black ceramic for the console gear shifter gives a cool-to-touch feel.

SENSORY IMMERSION –

Raising that sense of connection even higher, New Range Rover Sport SV introduces Body and Soul Seat (BASS), a multi-dimensional audio experience with wellness benefits which allows front seat occupants to feel the sound. This is the first production vehicle to incorporate a tactile audio system from industry leader SUBPAC™ – technology used by the world’s top recording artists and composers.

Incorporating SUBPAC™ AI optimising software, and transducers aligned to front seat occupants’ backs, Body and Soul Seat analyses media in real-time, generating high fidelity audio vibrations to create the most engaging and immersive in-car audio. This system works in combination with the 29 speaker, 1430 W, Meridian Signature Sound System.

Beyond immersion in music, the Body and Soul Seat Wellness programmes can help enhance New Range Rover Sport SV’s front-seat occupants’ mental and physiological wellbeing by influencing heart rate variability (HRV) – the variation in time between each heartbeat. High HRV is indicative of lower stress levels and relaxation.

Designed in collaboration with Coventry University’s National Transport Design Centre and the School of Media and Performing Arts, six specially developed tracks – Poise, Soothe, Serene, Cool, Tonic and Glow – could affect passengers’ HRV, either helping to reduce anxiety or improve cognitive response, studies have shown.

SV INTRODUCTION LEADS ENHANCEMENTS TO RANGE ROVER SPORT LINE-UP –

In addition to the introduction of New Range Rover Sport SV, the line-up has received a suite of updates, including a new plug-in electric hybrid with extended EV range, and the integration of the latest generation Pivi Pro4 infotainment technology.

Range Rover Sport’s beautifully crafted and reductive interior has also been enriched with intuitive new technologies. Combining effortless connectivity and the latest touchscreen, the Pivi Pro4 infotainment provides intuitive control of all vehicle functions through the elegant 33.27 cm (13.1) floating glass display.

New sidebars with easy-to-use sliders for the volume and climate control provide immediate and precise operation for key functions directly, whatever menu screen is displayed, and approximately 80 per cent of tasks can be performed within two taps of the home screen. Haptic feedback provides an added level of tactility and communication with the user.

Integrated Land Rover voice control systems help drivers to keep their eyes on the road while making changes to the cabin environment. Advanced Software Over The Air capability keeps Range Rover Sport up to date with the latest software.

TATA Realty And Tabreed Announce First Alliance For Cooling As A Service transaction In India

-Tata Realty’s Intellion Park, a 3.5 million square feet IT SEZ development in Gurugram, is the first project of this kind

-Tabreed will invest up to INR 100 crores in its first project to provide cooling services for a 30-year concession period

Tabreed, world’s leading global cooling utility player, today announced signing of an agreement with TATA Realty, a leading Real Estate Developer, to implement its first Cooling as a Service (CaaS) project in India. It’s an alliance to develop a sustainable and efficient cooling infrastructure. This marks Tabreed’s first Cooling as a Service (CaaS) transaction in India entails an investment of approximately INR 100 Cr in TATA Realty’s Intellion Park in Gurugram over a period of time. Tabreed will acquire Intellion Park’s existing cooling infrastructure and undertake Greenfield expansion to increase cooling capacity.

Moving away from the regular market practice wherein real estate developers own and operate their cooling assets through facility management arrangements, through this first of its kind transaction, Tabreed will provide long-term, SLA-based cooling services to Intellion Park with well-defined parameters to improve energy efficiency, asset longevity, system reliability and reduce life cycle costs of cooling for tenants. It is expected that the transaction will result in Tabreed serving as a provider of cooling services for TATA Realty, offering District Cooling or CaaS concessions across its commercial properties.

Sanjay Dutt, MD & CEO of Tata Realty said, “Tata Realty has been at the forefront of promoting sustainable real estate development in India. With numerous achievements, including the country's first net-zero certified commercial real estate campus, the company has set a high bar for the rest of the industry. In continuation of this trend, Tata Realty's engaged with Tabreed to launch the first Cooling as a Service (CaaS) project. Our endeavour is to enable the delivery of superior value to occupants, while promoting higher standards of ESG and wellness in commercial and mixed-use real estate developments.”

Khaled Abdulla Al Qubaisi, Chairman of Tabreed, expressed his enthusiasm for the engagement stating: “As the world’s most populous country and one of the fastest growing economies, India will be a key strategic market and important partner for Tabreed as we expand our international presence. We expect to see large-scale adoption of district cooling in India as demand for real estate and cooling grows at a rapid pace. Tabreed is delighted to partner with TATA Realty to develop leading innovative district cooling services which will support sustainable urban development across India. This will unlock value for our stakeholders, while benefitting communities and reducing carbon emissions.”

The India Cooling Action Plan (ICAP) announced by the Ozone Cell of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change forecasted eight-fold increase in aggregated cooling demand for the country by 2037-38, with 45% of the country’s peak energy demand likely to be for cooling by 2050. In addition, ICAP identifies the immediate need for skill development of the country’s HVAC sector with at least 100,000 technicians to be trained in good servicing practices and the new alternative refrigerants as the cooling demand increases.

Sudheer Perla, Country Manager of Tabreed India, said, “Long-term, green financing delivered through innovative and bespoke business models such as CaaS will play a crucial role in scaling up the transition to a greener economy, especially for the built environment. Currently, developers are allocating huge sums of capital on HVAC systems for new buildings as well as highly-inefficient existing buildings to achieve their net zero goals, all whilst competing with and balancing other demands on their capex. Through demonstrating the value of CaaS at Intellion Park, we hope to pave the way for more rapid adoption of district cooling in India, easing the burden of upfront costs for developers to inspire more sustainable cooling solutions for the Indian real estate sector, which is set to witness fastest global increase in cooling-related energy demand in the coming decades.”

To Meet Growing Consumer Demand For Rental Equipment, Godrej & Boyce Will Invest INR 100 Cr In Material Handling Business

~ Expands reach across sectors in response to the surging rental equipment market.

Godrej & Boyce, the flagship company of the Godrej Group, announced that its business Godrej RenTRUST, a leading player in the material handling rental industry, has planned to invest INR 100 crores in capital assets over the next three years. This strategic move comes as the company foresees a significant surge in material handling requirements across the country. In Q4 of FY23, Godrej RenTRUST secured orders deploying 100+ units of equipment to esteemed clients across multiple industries such as shipping, 3PL, e-commerce, FMCG, manufacturing, and F&B, demonstrating the company's commitment to long-term partnerships.

With a strong belief in the potential of the rental market, Godrej RenTRUST aims to cater to the evolving needs of industries including auto, engineering, chemicals and pharma, F&B, FMCG, logistics, 3PL, ecommerce and retail.

The Indian rental market, estimated at INR 2200 crores, has shown a remarkable growth trajectory, with the organized segment gaining ground year after year. By opting for equipment rentals, customers significantly reduce their involvement in servicing requirements. Industry studies indicate that in the entire lifecycle of equipment, service consumes approximately 20% of the cost and 15% of the time of consumers. Reducing either of these aspects empowers industry players to become more competitive in their respective sectors.

Renting equipment has become a preferred option for businesses seeking managed services and bypassing high upfront costs. Compared to purchasing equipment, rentals offer a cost-effective solution that allows companies to choose optimal equipment tailored to their specific requirements. By embracing rental solutions, businesses can eliminate hidden and obvious costs associated with equipment ownership, thereby increasing productivity, meeting compliance standards, and achieving overall cost savings.

Over the past five years, Godrej RenTRUST has achieved a CAGR of 20%, solidifying its position as a trusted and leading player in the material handling rental industry and growing further. In this highly unorganized industry, Godrej RenTRUST continues to provide marquee services to enable fully complaint and safe operations with certified operators and high-quality equipment, that can be digitally monitored in real time by the clients. Customers benefit from their extensive reach in India across 300+ sites, optimized space and cost of warehouses, safer material handling movements till 12.5 meters height with increased throughput, with 80% of fleet being electric powered.

Commenting on this, Mr Anil Lingayat, Executive VP and Business Head, Godrej Material Handling, says, "We are thrilled to announce our investment of INR 100 crores in capital assets for Godrej RenTRUST, reflecting our strong belief in the rising demand for material handling solutions across the country. At Godrej RenTRUST, our focus is on empowering businesses to thrive by providing flexible rental options that eliminate high upfront costs and offer optimal equipment tailored to their specific needs. By delivering transparent rental contracts, exceptional service, and hassle-free maintenance, we aim to enhance our customers' productivity, drive operational efficiencies, and enable them to stay ahead in today's competitive landscape. This strategic investment underscores our commitment to revolutionize the material handling rental industry and deliver exceptional value to our valued customers."

One of the key advantages of Godrej RenTRUST's rental contracts is the transparency it provides in operational expenses. Customers can benefit from a predetermined cost structure, enabling them to determine operational efficiencies needed for their core business. Additionally, rental contracts ensure that no unforeseen expenses arise during the operational cycle, minimizing surprises and providing peace of mind. Companies are increasingly transitioning from capital expenditures to rental solutions leveraging the flexibility it offers in meeting expansion needs, greenfield projects, and fleet replacements.

With a customer-centric approach, Godrej RenTRUST is poised to cater to the ever-growing demands of the Indian market and ensure seamless and efficient material handling for businesses across various sectors.
