Aspire Systems has received the Asia Responsible Enterprise Award 2021 under the Social Empowerment category. Aspire Systems’ CSR wing Pearltri Foundation conducted a sewing machine operator training program for underprivileged women from the rural areas of Tamil Nadu. The goal of the program is to empower women through vocational training, enhance their skills sets and enable them to secure employment thereby leading to economic empowerment. A total of 280 candidates were enrolled for the program in the financial year 2019-20, with a 95% employment rate.

This program is delivered through a simple framework - engage, educate, evaluate, and excel, where the objective is to improve the quality of life of women through skill development. Local trainers are developed through this project and expertise is made available within the local community to ensure the sustainability of the project.
