With the desire to bring alive long lost traditional recipes from different parts of India, the brand currently offers 70+ delectable sweets from various states of the country. The team intends to add more milk-based sweets to the list in the coming months that are made with ethically produced fresh milk untouched by human hands.
Commenting on the launch, Shwetha Rajashekar, COO, India Sweet House added, “Our flagship store launched in Malleshwaram last month received a fantastic response that encouraged us to look at a second outlet. Each one of us have grown up with different sweets being made in our homes. However, over every generation the recipes seem to be losing flavour and becoming a massless mix of sugar. The Indian sweet food story is nuanced and rich with textures and variations. This is a history that is worth preserving and passed on to our next generation. At India Sweet House we aim to bring you the best of the sweets from different parts of the country…as they would be made in homes across India.”
The dairy products such as milk, butter, ghee & khova are from our own organic andsustainable farmin Nelamangala. All the other ingredients required are ethically sourced from organic certified vendors ensuring a strict quality controlpractices that are sustainable and kind to the animals and plants all around. All the products are natural with no added preservatives.
V Vishwanath, the Managing Partner also added “The response to our range of products has been overwhelming. The love and stories shared with us with each purchase further enhances our confidence in the sustainability path we have chosen to walk. Each sweet is slow cooked as required by traditional recipes with the finest of ingredients. After Malleshwaram and now Sanjaynagar we will soon open in Yelahanka along with online marketplaces before moving to different states and countries”.
