Manipal College of Health Professions (MCHP), is actively involved in developing collaboration with industry and academic institutions. These collaborations cater to the needs of the students by offering quality education, enhanced skill training and research outlook and thereby enhancing employment opportunities.
Manipal College of Health Professions (MCHP) have active collaborations with various reputed International colleges and universities including Deakin University, McGill University, University of Melbourne, Flinders University, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), Georgia State University, MGH Institute of Health Professions, Lamar University, Oslo & Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, Perdana University, University of South-Eastern Norway and others. Some of the industry collaborative partners of MCHP include the Composite Regional Centre for Person with Disability, Kerala, Healthcare Technology innovation Centre, IIT Madras, Robert Bosch Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, VISINT Healthcare Pvt Ltd. and the Wipro GE Healthcare Pvt.Ltd, Yostra Labs PVT Ltd. These collaborations provides opportunities for the MCHP students in academic, research and industry training. The student exchange and semester abroad opportunities offers international experience and develop a global perspective on their course specific health care delivery system. The industry partnerships offers externship opportunities for the undergraduate students and advanced training options for the postgraduate students.
During the past six months, the college have edged promising partnerships with numerous International & National institutions and health care industry set ups. Some of the prominent memorandum of understanding (MoU) for academic and industry collaboration recently signed includes the cooperation with College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University, United Arab Emirates and the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, Piedmont University, USA. Nationally, MCHP have initiated collaborations with Balco Medical Centre (Vedanta Medical Research Foundation), Jajal Medical Services, and Genworks Health Pvt Limited.
On 8th September 2021, The MoU is singed by Lt. Gen Dr. M. D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor, MAHE, Dr. Narayan Sabhahit Registrar, MAHE and Dr. G Arun Maiya, Dean, Manipal College of health Professions, and Mr. Sridhar, CEO, Genworks Health Pvt Ltd, Mr. Mohammad Mansoor Ahmad, HR Head, and Mr. RasiKiran. Dr. Sunila, Dr. Venkatraj Aithal and Dr. Krishnananda, were present during the MoU Signing.
