Mahindra Truck and Bus, part of the Mahindra Group, today announced the launch of the all-new BLAZO i-TRK, a new generation Heavy Commercial Truck engineered around one singular promise to transporters and fleet owners - Profit Ka Rocket.
Purpose-built as a complete business solution rather than just a truck, the BLAZO i-TRK combines best-in-class fuel efficiency, high-performance powertrain, intelligent connected technologies and an industry-leading uptime guarantee. It enables customers to maximise earnings, improve productivity, reduce operating costs and exercise greater control over their fleet.
The BLAZO i-TRK has been engineered around three powerful customer assurances:
Earn More
Delivering up to 10% better fuel efficiency, the BLAZO i-TRK integrates advanced technologies including AI-powered iFUELSMART auto drive mode, TurboMAXX turbocharger, OptiFuel air compressor and multiple other hardware solutions and software innovations to extract maximum value from every drop of fuel. These cumulative savings can translate into up to ₹15 lakh* of additional profit per truck over five years, helping customers grow their business faster.
Run More
Powered by Mahindra’s trustworthy and best-in-class 320 HP mPOWER engine across the entire BLAZO i-TRK range, the truck delivers strong performance, higher reliability and greater productivity. Enhanced driver comfort – through the COMFiMAXX suspended seat, EzyCruise cruise control, Bluetooth enabled music system with mic for handsfree and safe communication, spacious, premium and ergonomic AC cabin – keeps drivers productive on long-haul operations, enabling fleets to complete more trips with greater efficiency.
Every BLAZO i-TRK is backed by Mahindra’s comprehensive service assurance programme designed to maximise vehicle availability and minimise operating costs. At its core is the industry-first 48-hour Uptime Guarantee*, under which customers receive ₹10,000 per day* if the vehicle is not put back on road within the committed timeline of 48 Hours*. This is supported by an expanding nationwide network of service centres and Mahindra Quick Service Points (mQSPs) located within 75 km on National Highways and 50 km on State Highways.
Further strengthening the proposition are Mahindra’s Parts Supply Guarantee*, which ensures 250 critical parts* availability across dealer network. If an eligible guaranteed part is not made available within the committed 24-hour period, the customer shall be entitled to receive the respective part free of cost*. It also offers a class-leading warranty on 100+ parts.
Control More
The BLAZO i-TRK comes equipped with iMAXX 2.0, Mahindra’s next-generation connected vehicle platform. It delivers real-time vehicle intelligence, predictive diagnostics, driver behaviour monitoring, service management and actionable business insights through an intuitive desktop and mobile interface. By enabling smarter decisions and proactive fleet management, iMAXX 2.0 helps customers improve operational efficiency while maximising profitability.
To provide more control in hands of our customers, with BLAZO i-TRK, customised and long term (6Y/6L / 8Y/8L) mCARE Annual Maintenance Contracts and Extended Warranty plans (6k-10k Hr for tippers) are now available– ensuring lower maintenance costs and greater peace of mind throughout the ownership journey.
The new Now24x7 mobile app puts complete control in the hands of fleet owners and transporters, delivering an end-to-end digital customer experience right on their phone. The app enables customers to raise, track and close breakdown assistance requests, view breakdown van location in real time, process digital approvals for repair orders faster, order spare parts directly, access complete service history in one place, and set appointments with reminders so no service interval is ever missed. By staying continuously connected with Mahindra through every interaction, Now24x7 app helps customers manage their fleets more efficiently, reduce downtime and remain always in control.
Together, these three assurances make the BLAZO i-TRK much more than a Heavy Commercial Vehicle. They create a complete profitability ecosystem engineered to help customers Earn More, Run More and Control More, delivering measurable business value throughout the ownership lifecycle.
The BLAZO i-TRK has been designed to combine bold road presence with functional engineering. Every design element has been developed to improve vehicle performance, durability and driver convenience while reinforcing Mahindra's modern Heavy Commercial Vehicle identity.
The Mahindra BLAZO i-TRK range comes in 3 colours and will be available across variants and applications.
INTELLICORE Design
The BLAZO i-TRK's design is the first expression of Mahindra's INTELLICORE design philosophy for its Heavy Commercial Vehicle range. At its core, INTELLICORE integrates professional intelligence and purpose into every aspect of the truck, ensuring that form and function come together to deliver a superior ownership and driving experience.
Every exterior and interior element has been thoughtfully designed to communicate capability while enhancing usability. The wide, commanding grille reflects power and performance, complemented by full-size, high-performance headlamps that reinforce the truck's bold road presence. Inside, the cabin has been conceived as a driver's office, centred around the driver with an intuitive and ergonomic layout that makes every task effortless and efficient. Completing the design language is the distinctive Skyline Blue body colour, reflecting the calm, confident and professional character of the BLAZO i-TRK.
The Mahindra BLAZO i-TRK range comes in 3 colours and will be available across variants and applications.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Vinod Sahay, President – Trucks & Buses, Executive Chairman – SML Mahindra and Member of the Group Executive Board, Mahindra Group, said, "India's freight and logistics sector is entering a new phase of growth, where technology, reliability, and operational efficiency will define competitive advantage, and older concepts such as resale will not be relevant. Our ambition is not only to build better trucks but also to shape the future of commercial mobility through innovation and strong customer partnerships. The BLAZO i-TRK embodies this philosophy through intelligent trucking and is truly the ‘Profit Ka Rocket’, with the potential to increase profit up to ₹15 lakh* per truck over five years compared to other trucks in the industry. At the same time, it comes with an industry-first and unmatched uptime guarantee."
Summit SIF Launches Summit Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Fund

Summit SIF today announced the launch of the Summit Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Fund (An interval investment strategy dynamically investing across equity, debt, equity and debt derivatives, InVITs and commodity derivatives, including limited short exposure on permitted instruments through derivatives).
Traditionally, arbitrage strategies have relied predominantly on opportunities arising from cash-futures spreads. However, as financial markets have evolved, opportunities can emerge across a wider set of instruments, asset classes and market situations.
Built around the philosophy of a multi-arbitrage approach, the Summit Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Fund seeks to combine multiple arbitrage opportunities within a single portfolio. While core arbitrage forms the foundation of the strategy, additional arbitrage opportunities across synthetic arbitrage, index arbitrage, commodity arbitrage and special situations seek to broaden the opportunity set.
The strategy is designed to capture available spreads while maintaining limited directional market exposure. By focusing on arbitrage opportunities rather than market forecasts, it seeks to offer investors a differentiated approach to deploying capital over a medium-term horizon. The strategy will be managed by Mr. Deepak Gupta and will be benchmarked to 40% Nifty 500 TRI + 40% CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund Index + 20% iCOMDEX Composite Index
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Deepak Gupta, Fund Manager, said, “Arbitrage is often viewed primarily through the lens of cash-futures spreads. However, pricing opportunities can emerge across different markets, instruments and situations. The SIF framework gives us a wider canvas to explore such arbitrage opportunities through synthetic futures, indices, commodities and special situations, alongside conventional arbitrage.
Our focus with the Summit Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Fund is to build a broader set of potential return drivers without making directional market calls the foundation of the strategy. Core arbitrage will anchor the portfolio, while we will selectively deploy complementary strategies where we see attractive spreads.
Equally important is risk discipline. We intend to pursue incremental return opportunities without taking disproportionate risk.”
The minimum investment amount during the NFO is ₹10,00,000/- and in multiples of ₹1/- thereafter. In case of Accredited investors, the minimum investment amount during the NFO is ₹1,00,000/- and in multiples of ₹1/- thereafter. Subscriptions will be available daily at applicable NAV, while redemptions will be available twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. In case Monday or Wednesday falls on a non-business day, then the immediately succeeding business day will be considered. The investment strategy will charge an exit load of 0.50% if units are redeemed or switched out on or before 30 days and 0.25% if units are redeemed or switched out after 30 days but on or before 60 days. 20 Years With A ‘Bent Back’: Fortis Hospital Rajajinagar Corrects Severe 70-Degree Spinal Deformity In 60-Year-Old
* Patient walks independently the very next day after an eight-hour corrective spine surgery –
Fortis Hospital, Rajajinagar, has successfully treated a 60-year-old man who had been living with a severely bent back for nearly 20 years. The patient had a spinal curvature of more than 70 degrees, causing severe pain and making it difficult for him to walk and carry out everyday activities. His condition had worsened significantly over the past year following an old spine fracture. A multidisciplinary team led by Dr. Shreekantha K.S., Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon, Fortis Hospital, Rajajinagar, performed an eight-hour surgery to correct the severe spinal deformity. Following the procedure, the patient was able to stand upright, perform his personal activities independently and walk the very next day.
The patient had ankylosing spondylitis, a condition that causes the spine to gradually become stiff and lose its flexibility. He had also suffered a fracture in the upper part of his spine following a fall, which was treated without surgery. Over the years, the combination of the underlying condition and the old fracture caused his back to bend progressively. Over the past year, he developed severe pain at the most curved part of his back and found it increasingly difficult to walk and perform routine activities.
Following a detailed evaluation, doctors decided that surgery was required to correct the fixed deformity. The team performed a Pedicle Subtraction Osteotomy (PSO), a complex procedure used to correct severe spinal curvature and bring the spine back into better alignment. The surgery lasted approximately eight hours, and involved carefully correcting and stabilizing the spine while continuously monitoring the nerves and spinal cord.
The patient's severe spinal curvature also made putting him under anaesthesia particularly challenging. His neck and spine had very limited movement, making it difficult to position him safely for the procedure. To address this, Dr. Naveen Gowda, Anaesthesiologist, Fortis Hospital, Rajajinagar, performed awake fibreoptic intubation, a technique that allows the breathing tube to be placed safely while the patient continues to breathe on his own and unnecessary movement of the spine is avoided. Following the surgery, the patient was observed in the ICU for approximately a day before being shifted to the ward. He began walking the next day and was able to perform his personal activities independently.
Speaking about the case, Dr. Shreekantha K.S., Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon, Fortis Hospital, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, said, “The patient had been living with a severe spinal deformity for nearly 20 years, which had significantly affected his mobility and everyday life. Correcting a fixed deformity of more than 70 degrees requires careful planning and precise surgery. Our objective was not only to correct the curvature but also to help him regain his independence and quality of life. It was particularly encouraging to see him stand upright and walk independently the very next day.”
Dr. Naveen Gowda, Anaesthesiologist, Fortis Hospital, Rajajinagar, said, “The severe curvature and stiffness of the patient’s spine made administration of anaesthesia particularly challenging. His neck movement was also restricted, making conventional placement of the breathing tube difficult. We therefore used awake fibreoptic intubation, which allowed us to safely manage his airway while minimising movement of his spine. Close coordination between the surgical, anaesthesia and critical care teams was important in ensuring a safe outcome.”
The patient said, “For almost 20 years, I had become used to living with my back bent and found it difficult to do many simple things that people normally take for granted. The pain and difficulty in walking had gradually become a part of my everyday life. After the surgery, being able to stand straight and walk on my own the very next day was something I never expected so soon. Being able to look straight at people again and do my daily activities independently has given me a sense of freedom that I had almost forgotten. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Shreekantha and the entire team at Fortis Hospital Rajajinagar for their care, expertise and support throughout my treatment.”
Ms. Hansa Shashank, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital, Rajajinagar, said, “This was a challenging case that required expertise and close coordination across multiple teams. The outcome demonstrates what is possible when specialised surgical care, anaesthesia and critical care work together. At Fortis Rajajinagar, we remain committed to providing advanced care that helps patients regain mobility, independence and a better quality of life.”

Citi And Credendo Announce Landmark USD 328 Million Financing For IndiGo’s Eight Airbus Aircraft
* Transaction marks the world’s first-ever Credendo-insured aviation financing and first Export Credit Agency (ECA)-backed aircraft financing structured through GIFT IFSC, in line with Government of India’s vision to make India a global aircraft leasing hub
Citi and Credendo, Belgium’s export credit agency, today announced the successful closing of a USD 328 million financing for eight Airbus aircraft (six A321s and two A320s) for IndiGo, India’s largest airline by network and fleet size and one of the fastest growing carriers in the world. Under the structure, Citi acted as Sole Mandated Arranger, ECA Coordinator and Sole Lender, with the financing backed by Credendo’s credit insurance.
Executed through IndiGo’s subsidiary, InterGlobe Aviation Financial Services IFSC Private Limited, the transaction marks the first-ever Credendo-insured aviation financing globally and the first ECA-backed aircraft financing through a GIFT IFSC leasing structure, setting an important milestone in India in aviation finance.
The bespoke financing solution was jointly conceptualized, structured and developed by Citi and Credendo in close partnership with IndiGo and Airbus, leveraging Citi’s market-leading expertise in ECA structuring and aviation finance together with Credendo’s credit insurance capabilities to deliver a tailored funding solution that supports IndiGo’s ambitious fleet expansion plans through the GIFT IFSC platform. Airbus played a key role in supporting this pioneering financing, working closely with Citi, Credendo and IndiGo throughout the process. The transaction further underscores Airbus' commitment to developing innovative financing solutions that enhance funding access and support the growth ambitions of its airline customers.
This landmark transaction reflects the growing importance of access to innovative international capital and export credit support in meeting the financing needs of India's rapidly expanding aviation sector and reinforcing its position as a global aviation hub. For IndiGo, the facility provides a competitive and diversified source of long-term funding for fleet and network growth. It also demonstrates the strong collaboration between Citi, Credendo, IndiGo and Airbus in delivering a first-of-its-kind financing and broadening the range of funding solutions available to the Indian aviation market.
K Balasubramanian, India CEO and Banking Head and Indian Subcontinent Sub-Cluster Head, Citi, commented: “The Government of India has made aircraft leasing through GIFT City a clear policy priority, and the incentives introduced have helped position India as an attractive destination for aircraft leasing. This transaction is a strong example of that vision in action. By combining Citi’s cross-border aviation and ECA financing expertise with Credendo’s credit insurance and IndiGo’s GIFT IFSC platform, we have delivered a first-of-its-kind solution that opens a vital new pathway connecting Indian aviation with the deep pool of ECA-backed international liquidity and supports the next phase of India’s aviation growth. Citi is proud to have led this landmark facility as Sole Mandated Lead Arranger, ECA Coordinator and Sole Lender. We also thank Airbus for its partnership and support in making this transaction possible.”
Frank Vanwingh, Group Deputy CEO, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, Credendo – Export Credit Agency stated: “This transaction is a significant milestone for Credendo and the first step in a broader initiative aimed at enhancing support for the Belgian aviation industry. As our inaugural aircraft finance transaction, it demonstrates our ambition to become a long-term partner for Belgian aviation stakeholders seeking access to international opportunities and innovative financing structures. The transaction also showcases the value that Belgian export credit support can bring to the aviation sector through bespoke risk mitigation solutions. We are proud to have worked alongside Airbus, Citi and IndiGo in delivering this landmark transaction through GIFT IFSC and look forward to supporting further aviation finance projects worldwide.”
Riyaz Peermohamed, Chief Aircraft Acquisition & Financing Officer, IndiGo said, “We are pleased to partner with Citi, Credendo and Airbus on this landmark financing, which offers IndiGo a competitive source of liquidity for our growing Airbus fleet. The transaction demonstrates the potential of GIFT IFSC to bring together international banks and export credit agencies and create innovative financing solutions for Indian aviation.”

In 2025 Credendo insured international trade worth 91 billion euros and earned 438 million euros in premium income. Credendo is the fourth largest credit insurance group in Europe.
