Volvo Car India has officially launched its new all-electric luxury flagship SUV, the EX90, priced at Rs. 1,26,00,000.00 (ex-showroom). Designed as a spacious 6-seater luxurious family SUV, the EX90 marks Volvo’s first-ever software-defined vehicle offering in the Indian market, blending Scandinavian minimalist design, legendary safety standards, phenomenal range and state-of-the-art technology (developed on Volvo' new SPA2 platform).
Bookings are open now, with customer experience and drives beginning in November 2026, and deliveries slated to start from January 2027. Additionally, an introductory offer is valid on all bookings made before December 31, 2026, which includes an 11kW wall box charger and a 3-year service package, with Volvo Cars dealerships offering a 65% buyback offer after 3 years.

Built as Volvo’s smartest vehicle to date and powered by the NVIDIA DRIVE platform and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 cockpit technology, the vehicle features a 14.5-inch central touchscreen running a built-in Google ecosystem (Google Maps, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video) alongside wireless Apple CarPlay and continuous Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. The EX90, withs one single core computer, can process up to 254 -280 trillion operations per second.
Powered by an advanced twin-motor setup with a high-voltage 106 kWh lithium-ion battery, it delivers 335 kW (456 hp) and 670 Nm of torque. It achieves 0–100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds and boasts a projected WLTP range of up to 625 km and an ICAT-rated range of up to 725 km.
The flagship SUV also utilizes cutting-edge safe space technology - including 5 cameras, 5 radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors - alongside a 360-degree camera with 3D view, Pilot Assist, adaptive cruise control, occupant sensing technology and collision avoidance systems to protect both occupants and pedestrians.
The interior is an exercise in refined Scandinavian craftsmanship, featuring back-lit wood décor, ventilated Nappa leather seating in Dawn, a 4-zone climate system, and a massive panoramic electrochromic sunroof. It also features a 6-seater captain seat configuration with easy third-row access and power-folding rear seats to maximize boot flexibility. The SUV also has one of the best audio systems in the industry, equipped with a 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins high-fidelity sound system delivering 1610W of power, complete with Dolby Atmos and Abbey Road Studio modes.
