Marking World Heart Day 2026, Fortis Hospitals, Bengaluru, today launched “Don’t Miss a Beat – Attack the Attack,” a Kannada heart-health awareness campaign aimed at encouraging people to take preventive steps, recognising the warning signs of a heart attack and act without delay during a cardiac emergency. The campaign was officially launched by renowned singer, composer and producer Shri Raghu Dixit, who is associated with the campaign’s musical identity. The launch brought together leading cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, senior hospital leadership, staff members, patients, and distinguished guests.
Bringing back the spirit of Fortis “Attack the Attack” initiative for a new generation, the campaign has been adapted into Kannada to connect with Bengaluru’s local communities. Through a video and Kannada jingle composed by Shri Raghu Dixit, the campaign delivers three key messages: Prevent the Attack, Recognise the Attack and Attack the Attack encouraging people to take care of their heart health, recognize warning signs and act without delay during a cardiac emergency.
Extending its focus on heart health beyond hospital settings, Fortis Bengaluru also announced its initiative to create CPR awareness and train more than 25,000 citizens across its seven hospitals. The initiative aims to equip members of the community with awareness of CPR and appropriate first-response measures during a cardiac emergency, while professional medical assistance is being sought.
Shri Raghu Dixit, Renowned Indian Singer, Composer & Producer, said, “Music has the power to bring people together, and important messages can become more memorable when shared in a familiar and engaging way.
