Tata Power Scales Autism Care Access With E-Sanidhya, Strengthening Nationwide Impact

Tata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power companies, continues to expand its social impact through its flagship initiative, Pay Autention, aimed at strengthening autism awareness and support across India.With 1 in 100 children on the autism spectrum and many families facing delayed diagnosis and limited access to care, the need for early intervention and inclusive ecosystems remains critical. Addressing this, Pay Autention has evolved into a collaborative phygital platform connecting experts, educators, therapists, institutions, caregivers, and families enabling more accessible and continuous support.

Now in its fifth year, the initiative has trained over 2,700 public-facing professionals, engaged 500+ expert organizations, and reached more than 18,000 community members across 8 states. Its digital platform, E-Sanidhya, has further extended its footprint to 28 states and 4 Union Territories, helping bridge gaps in awareness and access.

As part of its people-first approach, Tata Power is also strengthening internal awareness and inclusion through targeted HR-led initiatives. The company is sensitising employees and frontline teams through structured training modules, workshops, and engagement programs aimed at building empathy and understanding around autism. These efforts are designed to create a more inclusive workplace while enabling employees to become informed advocates within their communities.

This Autism Awareness Month marks a phase of expansion, with a stronger focus on deeper engagement and sustained impact. The initiative is also inviting collaborations through expert discussions, panel conversations, and real-life stories to further strengthen autism awareness in India.

Through Pay Autention, Tata Power continues to move beyond awareness towards building a more inclusive and supportive ecosystem for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, both within the organisation and in the communities it serves.
