Wooden Street has announced the appointment of Dibyendu Panda as its Chief Business Officer (CBO). In this role, he will lead the company’s overall business strategy, revenue growth, and retail expansion, while strengthening its omnichannel capabilities across India.
Dibyendu brings with him nearly two decades of experience in retail leadership, business development, and operations management. Over the years, he has worked with leading consumer and retail brands including Reliance, VIP, Sony India, BlueStone, and Wakefit, building strong expertise in scaling businesses, driving retail excellence, and managing large cross-functional teams. Most recently, he was associated with Wakefit, where he contributed to strengthening the company’s offline presence and expanding its retail footprint.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, Dibyendu has consistently led high-impact initiatives across retail expansion, merchandising, and organizational development.
