• Building on the successful rollout of 10 Premium Service Centres in 2025, Xiaomi strengthens its value-for-experience strategy in 2026
Xiaomi, a global technology leader, today announced the strategic expansion of its Premium Service Centre network with launches across 15 new cities in India. This marks the second phase of Xiaomi’s plan to establish 100 Premium Service Centres nationwide. The expansion reinforces Xiaomi’s value-for-experience strategy, with a strong focus on delivering a more accessible, reliable, and seamless after-sales experience for customers.
The company unveiled its second centre in Bengaluru today. As part of the phased rollout, all 15 new centres will be operational in Q1 2026, taking the total number of Premium Service Centres to 25 under Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the expansion plan. Xiaomi’s Premium Service Centres are currently operational across Madurai, Trivandrum, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Surat, Vishakhapatnam, Indore, Surat and Lucknow
Speaking on this, Sudhin Mathur, Chief Operating Officer, Xiaomi India said “The strong response to our first 10 Premium Service Centres reaffirmed that customers increasingly value faster, more dependable, and experience-led after-sales support. As part of Xiaomi’s value-for-experience strategy for 2026, the expansion into 15 additional cities is a natural next step in extending this service model to more users across India.
As customers hold on to their devices for longer, reliable service becomes essential. Through our Premium Service Centres, we are helping customers maintain their devices and get more value over time, reinforcing our commitment to long-term ownership support.”
The new-generation Premium Service Centres are designed to go beyond traditional repairs, offering a more holistic, elevated service experience. Customers can expect faster turnaround times, access to dedicated technical expertise, hands-on product interaction zones, and enhanced convenience features, all thoughtfully designed to make the service experience simpler, more transparent, and more reassuring. Not just that, the centres are envisioned as more than just service points; they serve as holistic experience hubs. Customers can explore and purchase Xiaomi products, enjoy paperless operations across touchpoints in line with the brand’s sustainability focus, and participate in community-building initiatives. One such initiative is Xiaomi Days, which will be held every Wednesday, offering exclusive benefits.
The new centres also introduce a range of enhanced customer benefits aimed at making premium after-sales support more inclusive and rewarding. Women customers will be eligible for special 30-day service discounts, while defence personnel and persons with disabilities can avail lifetime waivers on service charges. Customers will also benefit from limited-period offers, including up to 50% discounts on select spare parts and complimentary screen protectors for selected devices, subject to availability. Together, these initiatives are designed to make high-quality after-sales care more accessible, while encouraging customers to extend the longevity of their devices through trusted service support.
As smartphone replacement cycles continue to lengthen, reliable after-sales service is becoming an integral part of the ownership experience. Xiaomi devices are engineered for durability and supported by years of software and security updates. Through its expanding premium service network, Xiaomi is further strengthening its role as a long-term partner, helping users maintain, protect, and derive greater value from their devices as part of a more sustainable and responsible ownership journey.
Xiaomi has seen a strong and encouraging customer response to the first 10 Premium Service Centres launched in 2025, consistently delivering on its service commitments. Nearly 95% of devices were repaired and delivered within 24 hours, repeat visits were kept below 1%, and customer escalations remained under 0.5%, reflecting high service efficiency, quality resolution, and strong customer confidence in the premium service model. Additionally, over 5,000 customers benefited from Xiaomi’s Wednesday Service Days, an ongoing initiative offering free service charges on out-of-warranty repairs, complimentary device health check-ups and professional cleaning, along with free software upgrades.
At the core of this initiative is Xiaomi’s unwavering focus on speed, quality, and reliability. The Premium Service Centres offer priority repairs within 24 hours, supported by advanced diagnostics, stringent quality checks, and ready availability of spare parts. To minimise customer disruption, standby handsets are provided if a repair extends beyond two hours. Each centre is staffed by Xiaomi-certified experts who undergo regular training to ensure a consistently high standard of service across all touchpoints.
