Margo, one of the oldest neem beauty soaps, from Jyothy Labs, is celebrating 100 years of its existence. It’s authenticity and heritage value is what resonates with not just its older loyal customer-base, but also with today’s youth, where the new normal is all about seeking goodness from Mother Nature’s abode. 

A campaign that the agency had been planning in anticipation of the 100 years, released a film that is an ode to the 100-year beautiful journey of Margo - as the bar of soap was passed down from generation to generation, capturing detailed nuances of each era. Right from the black n white 20s, through 1947 as an independent India, to the polka dots and the puff sleeves of the 1970s, all the way to today’s 2021.

The campaign does justice to the idea through various media starting from the film, to print and an entire digital campaign as well.

Bisleri Strengthens Employee Welfare Practices To Safeguard Against COVID-19

Bisleri, industry leader and India's most trusted mineral water brand, has initiated a series of activities to ensure its employees, and their families, are protected during the second wave of COVID-19 that has hit the country. The company has provided Ozone Therapy treatments and COVID insurance of Rs.3 lakhs, to their employees.

The company has announced two policies – Covid Insurance policy and Covid death Insurance policy. All employees along their family members (spouse and children) can cover medical expenses up to Rs. 3 lakhs each and this is included under the Covid Insurance policy. The same policy would be applicable for the employee who are on contractual role with the organisation.

Under the Covid Death Insurance policy, the family members of the Bisleri pay-roll employees would receive three years' salary or Rs 35 lakhs, whichever is less, in case of death due to covid-19. The organisation has extended this policy for its contractual employees too. During the first wave of Covid-19, to ensure business continuity and for safety of employees at the manufacturing plants, the company had collaborated with a few properties in the vicinity to arrange for staff accommodation. These places are regularly sanitised following highest standards of safety.

Since mineral water comes categorised as essential goods and services that are permitted to operate during the lockdown, the company’s management wanted to go the extra mile to ensure employee safety and well-being. The first step towards the welfare of the employees was by boosting immunity through Ozone Therapy where 320 employees were given Ozone shots. Ozone therapy is an adjuvant therapy which helps in improving immunity and enhancing disease fighting capacity of the body. It acts as an incredible rejuvenator, normalizer, detoxifier, regenerator, immune enhancer and physical and mental energizer. These employees were followed up for 6 months and it was observed that out of these 320, only 2% contracted infection which was mild and asymptomatic. This therapy shows 98% of efficacy.

Through this initiative, the company wanted to offer its employees preventive healthcare to fight COVID-19.

As a people-first organisation, Bisleri also believes in standing in solidarity with its team members. The 'No questions asked' leave policy, in the event of an employee or their family members testing COVID positive, is a step towards providing them with a mental and moral support to the employees. This leave policy is also applicable if the building is sealed due to Covid cases. Paytm Payments Bank To Now Issue Visa Physical Debit Cards; Target 1 Million New Cards In FY ‘22

India’s homegrown Paytm Payments Bank Ltd (PPBL) has announced that after witnessing the popularity of Visa virtual debit cards among its customers, it will also start issuing physical debit cards by Visa. The bank has already issued over 4.5 million virtual cards and is now targeting to issue over 1 million physical debit cards by end of FY ’21.  PPBL is already one of the largest issuer of RuPay Debit Cards and has a debit cardholder in every district of the country.

ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro Notebooks 

Designed for 2D and 3D design workflows, Acer’s all-metal ConceptD 5 notebooks (CN516-72G) pair the new 11th Gen Intel® Core™ H-series processors with up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3060 Laptop GPU. A  ConceptD 5 Pro (CN516-72P) is also available, featuring either the NVIDIA® RTX™ A5000 or NVIDIA® RTX™ A3000 Laptop GPU, for creators looking for best-in-class performance and capabilities. The RTX A5000 Laptop GPU empowers creators with the ability to bring ray tracing and AI to the largest rendering, 8K editing, and multi-app workflows. 

With up to 64 GB of DDR4 3200 Hz memory and 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSDs in RAID 0, they provide all the power and storage creators need for handling 4K video, multiple monitors or 2D and 3D software rendering applications. Acer’s Vortex Flow, a triple-fan cooling layout (including a 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D Fan), is strategically organized to provide additional cooling to the CPU and GPU, allowing a bit more performance to be eked out under particularly demanding workloads.

The notebooks include a broad array of connectivity options: dual USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt™ 4 support, HDMI 2.1, an SD card carder (SD7.0), and more. A silent keyboard and touchpad designed for noise reduction removes one further small distraction that could interrupt a user’s creative flow, and the 6-inch wide Corning® Gorilla® Glass touchpad features a fingerprint reader for more convenient and secure logins.  

ConceptD 7 Ezel Convertible Notebook 

The ConceptD 7 Ezel (CC715-72G), Acer’s flagship convertible creator notebook, has been updated to include the powerful new 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-11800H processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU. A  ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro (CC715-72P) is also available, featuring up to an Intel® Xeon® W-11955M processor and NVIDIA® RTX™ A5000 or A3000 Laptop GPUs for creators desiring even greater performance in professional applications and support. 

Paired with up to 2 TB PCIe SSDs and up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory, it is an ideal choice for creators who typically handle large files and often use multiple applications at once. In addition, the newest models include dual Thunderbolt™ 4 ports that offer 40 Gbps bidirectional bandwidth, quicker transfer speeds, and the ability to connect up to five Thunderbolt devices—all with only one port. Acer also updated its ConceptD 3 line, which includes 14-inch convertible (CC314-72G) and traditional (CN314-72G) designs. A ConceptD 3 Pro (CN314-72P) and ConceptD 3 Ezel Pro (CC314-72P) are also available, both featuring up to an Intel® Core™ i7 processor capable of reaching 4.6 GHz and NVIDIA T1200 Laptop GPU. 

All of the ConceptD 3 form factors and sizes have been updated to include an 11th Gen Intel Core H-series processor. Commercial and consumer models will ship with various graphics options to suit a variety of workloads and specialties, including the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. All include a PCIe Gen 4 SSD and a Thunderbolt™ 4 port with power delivery enabled for super-fast charging.

Bengaluru, 28th May 2021 : Acer today announced the latest addition to its TravelMate P6 series, a line of Windows 10 Pro notebooks engineered for professionals who frequently work on the road. Durable, secure and powerful with a long battery life, these notebooks are built to survive life on the go—and now include a convertible option with a Corning Gorilla® Glass® touch display that can be rotated 360 degrees for use in presentation, tablet, notebook and tent modes. They also sport a dockable Acer Active Stylus that works with Windows Ink for capturing notes and drawing. In addition, new traditional clamshell models have been refreshed with up to 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 vPro® processors and facilitate collaboration by leveraging a 180-degree hinge design that allows the devices to lay flat for easier content sharing.

The notebook’s 14-inch, 16:10 FHD+ (1920 x 1200) display with narrow bezels provides extra screen real estate, allowing web pages, spreadsheets and more to be viewed with less scrolling. An IPS panel with 100% sRGB color gamut coverage delivers accurate color at up to 170 degree viewing angles—additionally, viewing angles can be limited to 90 degrees by enabling the built-in Acer PrivacyPanel. Full-sized and back-lit, the keyboard makes typing comfortable and enables travelers to work in dim areas like airplane cabins. An ultra-responsive, scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass touchpad supports precise gesture control.  

All new models have dual speakers for crystal-clear videoconferencing, while a four-mic array picks up vocals from up to 6.5 feet away and enables quick and accurate voice commands. A built-in smart amplifier provides distortion-free sound with deep bass, doubling as a safeguard that protects the speakers as volume is increased. 

Thin, Light & Durable 

Measuring only 0.6 inches (16.8 mm), the TravelMate Spin P6 (TMP614-52) and TravelMate P6 (TMP614RN-52) are thin, portable and very light—starting from just 2.2 pounds (1.0 kg) and 2.4 pounds (1.1 kg)[[4]], respectively. The chassis is comprised of a magnesium-aluminum alloy, which is stronger and lighter than standard aluminum alloys of the same thickness. With a long battery life of up to 20 hours on the TravelMate P6[[5]], professionals can work throughout the day without having to plug in or recharge—and when the time comes, fast charging can boost the battery up to 80% within an hour.  

Whether it’s videoconferencing while sharing a presentation or crunching numbers in a spreadsheet, the latest TravelMate P6 models pack plenty of power and performance with the latest 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 vPro® processors and up to 32 GB DDR4x memory. Excellent Security 

The TravelMate P6 leverages the powerful security features of Windows 10 Pro, including a fingerprint reader and IR webcam for quick and safe logins via Windows Hello. Built-in Acer User Sensing technology detects if someone is in front of the computer to either wake up or lock up the notebook, and Windows Hello can recognize whether that person is the owner. For privacy, the system’s webcam can be physically shuttered when not in use. An integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 chip and Intel® Active Management Technology from the Intel vPro® platform facilitate secure authentication and safeguard company data.  

High-Speed Connectivity  

Wi-Fi 6 and optional eSim/USim-enabled 5G connectivity[3] support working and collaborating away from the office.
