In a shift towards more experience-led residential design, Fortune Primero is introducing a network of six globally inspired skybridges at its upcoming development, Seven Sarjapur, reflecting an emerging trend in urban housing that prioritises shared spaces, community interaction, and design innovation.
Widely seen in global cities, skybridges are increasingly being explored as a way to reimagine high-rise living beyond vertical isolation. By connecting towers at height, they create opportunities for interaction, movement, and access to open environments within dense urban settings.
At Seven Sarjapur, the six skybridges move beyond function to become distinct, elevated experiences, each inspired by global urban cultures and adapted to everyday living:
Norway – The Nordic Aurora Bridge: A serene, contemplative zone designed for pause, reflection, and mental reset
South Korea – The Cyber Seoul Bridge: A vibrant, tech-led space with interactive and playful experiences
London – The Victorian Circuit: A refined work-oriented environment blending classic design with modern co-working functionality
New York – The Skyline Thread: A dynamic community space designed for social interaction and shared moments
Kyoto – The Zen Passage: A tranquil, family-focused setting inspired by the calm of traditional Japanese gardens
Singapore – The Canopy Ribbon: A biophilic green corridor integrating lush landscaping into elevated living
Together, these bridges create a multi-layered living environment above ground, blending movement, wellbeing, and community into the everyday rhythm of residential life.
Commenting on the design approach, Raahil Reddy, Director – Residential Projects, Fortune Primero, said: “For us, it starts with understanding how people actually live their everyday lives. Today’s homebuyers are looking beyond just space - they are seeking comfort, connection, and a better quality of life. As cities become denser, creating meaningful shared spaces becomes essential. The idea is to design environments where people can pause, interact, and feel a sense of belonging. We believe communities that bring together openness, connectivity, and thoughtful planning will define the future of urban living.”
Located along the Sarjapur-Attibele corridor, one of East Bengaluru’s emerging residential clusters, Seven Sarjapur is being planned as a high-rise community that balances density with open spaces and shared infrastructure.
The introduction of skybridge-led design reflects a broader shift in the sector - where the definition of affordability is evolving beyond price to include access to quality design, shared experiences, and everyday liveability.
