* A Tribute to the Unsung Heroes Behind India's Sporting Success
Gameskraft Foundation, the social arm of leading skill-based online games company Gameskraft, in partnership with the Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS), proudly launches ‘Mere Kadmon Ke Peechhe’. This evocative film celebrates the unsung heroes—the support systems behind some of India’s most promising track and field athletes.
The film offers a glimpse into the lives of 16 track and field athletes from IIS, including iconic figures such as Neeraj Chopra (Men’s Javelin Throw), Parul Chaudhary (Women’s 5000m and 3000m Steeplechase), Avinash Sable (Men’s 3000m Steeplechase), and Praveen Chithravel (Men’s Triple Jump), who are all supported at the ‘Gameskraft Foundation Athletics Centre of Excellence’. By showcasing their journey, the campaign seeks to inspire a new generation of athletes and spotlight the collective effort required to achieve greatness.
The campaign goes beyond the athletes themselves, shedding light on the crucial contributions of coaches, physiotherapists, nutritionists, sports scientists, and the unwavering encouragement from family and friends. ‘Mere Kadmon Ke Peechhe’ beautifully captures the essence of teamwork and dedication, reminding us that behind every medal is a village of supporters who make success possible.
Rishi Wadhera, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Gameskraft, said, “Our shared vision with IIS focuses on nurturing athletic talent and further building the sports ecosystem in India. ‘Mere Kadmon Ke Peechhe’ is a tribute to the collective tireless dedication, resilience, and unseen efforts of the support group that fuels every athlete's pursuit of excellence. We hope this film resonates with all; athletes, and all those who stand behind them - coaches, sports scientists, physiotherapists, nutritionists, friends, family and more.”
