Our launch pipeline has never been stronger and with launches picking up substantially from this month onwards, we remain confident of surpassing our full year guidance across all key operating metrics. We are especially focused on generating strong cash flows and expect INR 15,000 crore of collections and INR 7,000 crore of operating cash flow in H2 FY27. This will allow us to both invest for continued growth while being free cash flow positive for the period. FY 28 is an important year for the company where the exceptional growth of the past few years becomes apparent in the reported financials under project completion accounting. We expect to deliver both positive free cash flow and a 20% reported ROE in FY28.

We remain extremely excited about the opportunity ahead and will seek to continue to gain market share through outstanding design, timely delivery, and high quality developments.”

Aditya Birla Capital Adopts A Hybrid Approach To AI, Combining In-House Tools With External Solutions

Aditya Birla Capital (ABCL) is combining internally developed artificial intelligence (AI) tools with solutions from external partners to improve business operations, while avoiding dependence on any single technology platform, said Pankaj Gadgil, Head of Digital Platforms and Payments Strategy at ABCL and MD & CEO of Aditya Birla Housing Finance Limited.

Combining in-house development with external solutions

Gadgil said companies should balance building their own tools with adopting solutions already available in the market. ABCL has developed a platform for sales and service assistance, supported by separate databases for its businesses and multiple large language models (LLMs).

The company has also developed speech-to-text and other voice tools while leveraging solutions from technology partners. Its internally developed tools include WorkIO, which manages internal operations; TraceIO, which tracks customer journeys across digital platforms; and FinEngage, which enables employees to trigger automated customer outreach at specific stages of loan or insurance processes.

“It always has to be a hybrid between build and buy,” Gadgil said, emphasising the need to remain open to solutions available in the market.

Keeping technology platforms flexible

Gadgil highlighted the importance of maintaining open technology architecture as AI models and platforms continue to evolve. ABCL uses both open-source and closed models and is exploring the role of smaller language models (SLMs) in handling operational tasks that may not require larger models.

“I think a lot will happen in the area of SLMs replacing LLMs, because some of the operational problems we are trying to solve with LLMs do not require them. SLMs can handle them,” he said.

He added that AI tools must integrate with existing systems, including Salesforce and loan platforms such as Lentra and FinBox, through application programming interfaces (APIs) that enable them to access and update information.

Data and governance remain critical

Gadgil said ABCL is working towards an enterprise-wide “knowledge IQ layer” to connect data with its meaning and relationships across formats, including emails, PDFs and images.

“We increasingly realise that to get greater impact from AI, most of the work that now needs to be done, I think, is on data,” he said.

He added that scaling AI effectively also requires employee adoption and robust governance covering tool access, accuracy, costs and incident management.

* Marking the fifth Dolby Cinema in India, it brings a world-class immersive cinematic experience to Keralam

Dolby Laboratories (NYSE: DLB), a leader in immersive entertainment experiences, and EVM Cinemas today announced the launch of Keralam’s first Dolby Cinema at EVM Cinemas in Fort Kochi, Kochi. Marking the fifth Dolby Cinema in India, the new auditorium brings together Dolby’s advanced sight and sound innovations with a specially designed cinema environment, offering audiences in Keralam a truly unique and transformative way to experience movies on the big screen.

The launch marks another step in Dolby’s continued expansion of premium immersive theatrical experiences across India and brings Dolby Cinema to Keralam, a state with a long-standing connection to cinematic storytelling.

The Dolby Cinema auditorium at EVM Cinemas has been designed around the Dolby Cinema experience, bringing together the subtle details and ultravivid colours of Dolby Vision, the immersive sound of Dolby Atmos and a specially designed cinema environment. Dolby Vision brings the characters to life with darker darks, brighter brights, and a remarkable colour range you can’t get anywhere else, while Dolby Atmos offers sound in incredible clarity that actually moves all around you, bringing you deeper into the story. This ultimate combination is so lifelike – you don’t just see and hear the movie – you feel all the story.

The cinema’s design complements the technical innovations with a wall-to-wall-to-ceiling screen, carefully engineered acoustics and an environment specially designed to minimize distractions. From sightlines and seating to sound distribution, each element is added to provide a consistent and immersive cinematic viewing, offering audiences a true “best seat in the house” experience.

With the opening of EVM Cinemas in Fort Kochi, Keralam’s first Dolby Cinema brings Dolby’s immersive movie-going experience to audiences in the region. The launch reinforces Dolby’s continued focus on advanced cinematic experiences beyond India’s major metropolitan centres and strengthens EVM Cinemas’ commitment to delivering world-class theatrical experiences to moviegoers.

Michael Archer, Vice President, Cinema Sales and Partner Management, Dolby Laboratories says, “Bringing Dolby Cinema to Keralam is an important milestone in our journey to expand premium immersive cinematic experiences across India. Kochi is a natural addition to our growing Dolby Cinema footprint, given the region’s strong connection with cinema and its audiences’ appreciation for compelling storytelling. With EVM Cinemas, we are excited to bring together Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and the Dolby Cinema environment to offer audiences in Keralam an unparalleled new way to experience movie on the big screen.”

Mr. Jose Mathew, Managing Director, EVM Cinemas, commented, “Bringing Keralam’s first Dolby Cinema to Kochi is a proud milestone for EVM Cinemas. Having introduced Keralam’s first Dolby Atmos screen in 2014, this launch is a natural extension of our longstanding commitment to innovations and experiences. With Dolby Cinema, we are pleased to further elevate the cinematic experience with the quality and attention to detail that audiences have come to expect from EVM.”

The launch adds to the growing availability of content in Dolby for theatrical audiences worldwide. Indian audiences have also experienced major titles in Dolby, including RRR, Pushpa 2: The Rule, Game Changer, Babhubali Epic, War 2, Kantara, Raja Saab, Border 2, Peddi, and Toxic.

Coca-Cola India Brought Refreshment And Local Experiences To Pujo Celebrations

From welcoming loved ones back home to pandal hopping and enjoying local delicacies, Coca-Cola’s beverage portfolio added to the spirit of Pujo celebrations

Pujo was a time for family reunions, pandal hopping, local delicacies and neighborhoods coming alive with music, culture and celebrations. These traditions brought people together, creating opportunities to reconnect with loved ones and together experience the region’s rich cultural and culinary heritage.

During the festive season, Coca-Cola India brought its beverage portfolio closer to consumers through a range of cultural experiences across markets. The initiatives were activated in residential neighborhoods, and popular food destinations and pandals, with a focus on being part of the occasions and traditions that shaped the festive experience.

For many families, the season began with the homecoming of their loved ones. Marking these reunions, Maaza, India’s home-grown billion-dollar brand, created festive installations and photo opportunities across residential neighborhoods across West Bengal. The brand also introduced a refreshing twist to the festivities with its Kolkata Mixology. This act featured mocktails created using Maaza for consumers to sample and enjoy. Maaza also brought Bengal’s tradition of aamontron, or invitation, to life through Maaza Aamontron.

Beverage availability extended across retail outlets, temporary festive stalls and quick commerce, ensuring consumers could enjoy their favourite beverages as they came together to celebrate Pujo. Food is an integral part of Bengal’s festive culture, with local delicacies bringing people together over shared meals, memories, and conversations. Through Laal Mejhe, Coca-Cola captured this long-standing tradition of Adda in Kolkata. Alongside pandal hopping, food and festivities, spontaneous gatherings with friends, family and old acquaintances remained an equally cherished part of the experience. Through designated Laal Mejhe adda spaces, Coca-Cola brought this tradition into the festive celebrations.

Sprite tapped into Bengal’s love for spicy flavours and pandal hopping through the Sprite x Spicy Pujo Challenge. The initiative transformed popular food gullies in Kolkata into challenge hubs, encouraging consumers to explore local food spots through gamification. The experience was complemented by branded Sprite x Spicy carts, food-outlet touchpoints, pandal-hopping kits and Spricy - the platform’s mascot, who made appearances at Kolkata’s pandals.

Biryani, another much-loved Kolkata delicacy, brought friends and families together over a hearty meal, paired well with Thums Up and became a part of these food moments through associations with popular biryani outlets across Kolkata.

Sundeep Bajoria, Vice President, Integrated Operations, Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia said, “The festive season brings families and communities together through traditions celebrated across generations. These moments of celebration serve as important touchpoints for us to connect with consumers, ensuring they stay hydrated and refreshed as they enjoy the festivities. At Coca-Cola India, our focus is on deepening these connections by combining our diverse beverage portfolio with local insights and the reach of our strong execution with wide distribution, retail and the bottling ecosystem.”

Through its Festivals of Trust initiative, Kinley recognised the traditional dhakis who worked through the festive season to bring festive cheer to all. The initiative brought the dhakis and their families together for an evening of celebration, honouring the role they played in making the festivities possible.

Minute Maid and Powerade brought a range of fruit based beverages closer to consumers through on-the-go sampling at high-footfall pandal hotspots, offering them an opportunity to try favourites including Nimbu Fresh, Mixed Fruit and Apple during the festivities. Through these experiences, Coca-Cola India was part of the many ways people celebrated Pujo, bringing its beverages closer to families and friends as they came together to enjoy the festival’s traditions, flavours and spirit.

Binny Bansal-Backed ShopOS Launches Sloosh, Opening Its AI Creative Engine To Every Creator

Sophos Endpoint Security and Control | Insight
After powering creative for global brands across India, the UAE and the US, The $20 million-funded startup is giving creators and small businesses the same AI-plus-expert creative engine that global brands rely on, at a fraction of the cost

ShopOS, the Bengaluru-based AI company that raised $20 million from Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal’s 3STATE Ventures, today launched Sloosh.ai, an AI creative platform that turns ideas, photos and videos into product imagery, visual scenes, reels and creator-style clips. Sloosh is now available for everyone worldwide at sloosh.ai.

Sloosh runs on the same image and video orchestration engine ShopOS uses to produce content for leading global and Indian brands across the globe. ShopOS combines AI agents, reusable workflows and human experts to deliver creative outcomes with the speed and cost advantages of AI, while maintaining quality and consistency. With Sloosh, the company is making this creative engine accessible to agency teams, in-house brand teams, founders, small businesses, video editors, artists, filmmakers, photographers and creators worldwide

From one-off prompts to repeatable workflows

AI has made generating a single image or video easier than ever. Producing content that remains accurate, consistent and on-brand across multiple formats and use cases, however, often requires repeated prompting and multiple tools. Sloosh addresses this through Spaces, reusable creative workflows that package the steps, models and settings behind an output. Users can run the same workflow with new inputs, adapt it to different needs and reproduce consistent results without rebuilding the process each time.

Four ways to create

Chat: Type an idea, drop in a prompt or pick from hundreds of templates. Sloosh’s agent works out the best workflow and generates the output. This is the fastest way to start.

Run a Space: Pick a ready-made workflow for a specific use case and run it. Sloosh can run Spaces in batch mode, generating hundreds of images and videos at once with consistent, accurate results.

Build in Spacelab: Fork an existing Space, or build a custom workflow from scratch on Sloosh’s visual canvas. The canvas supports all the latest image, video and reasoning models.

Work with an expert: For complex projects, users can get hands-on help from ShopOS’s in-house creative team.

Works where creators already work

Sloosh MCP connects the platform to AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Cursor. Users can tap into Sloosh’s templates and Spaces without leaving the assistant they already use. Sloosh is also launching an Adobe After Effects plugin, with more integrations to follow.

Built with the creator community

Sloosh is taking a community-led approach, with transparent pricing and a product roadmap shaped by its users. Through Spacelab, creators can also publish their own Spaces for others to run, so their creative process reaches beyond a single image or video.

“For the last few years, we’ve been producing content for some of the biggest fashion and retail brands with an engine that combines AI workflows and human experts. It has now become good enough that it shouldn’t stay inside ShopOS. Sloosh is for anyone with an idea, whether you’re a creator, a designer, a founder or a maker. You get the same creative firepower those brands get, at a fraction of the cost and time,” said Ajay P V, Co-founder, ShopOS.

“Great creative work is a process, not a prompt. Spaces make that process reusable, so you can run it at scale, fork it, improve it and share it. We want to build Sloosh alongside the creators who use it every day,” said Sai Krishna V K, Co-founder, ShopOS.

Built by repeat founders

Sai and Ajay previously co-founded Scapic, an AI and augmented reality commerce platform that Flipkart acquired in 2020 after which they set up and led Flipkart Labs for a couple of years.

Brand film

To mark the launch, ShopOS has released a brand film that traces creative expression from traditional art forms to AI. Watch it here: [link]

Availability

Sloosh is available now at sloosh.ai. New accounts get 20 free credits. Paid plans start at $19/mo globally.
