JK Tyre Partners With Delhi Traffic Police Road Safety Cell & SIAM For National Road Safety Month


Reinforcing its unwavering commitment towards safer mobility, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd announced  its  collaboration with the Delhi Traffic Police Road Safety Cell (the educational wing of Delhi Police) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) in their efforts to promote importance of safe roads under National Road Safety Month, being held  from 18th January to 17th February 2021 in New Delhi.

JK Tyre has been the torchbearer of promoting road safety awareness for the past three decades. In view of the importance of this activity this year, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has mandated that the previously held National Road Safety Week be hosted for a month this time as National Road Safety Month 2021.

This year, the focus is on pedestrian safety. Delhi Traffic Police has identified high accident spots in and around the city at high traffic density locations.  JK Tyre, in association with Delhi Traffic Police, has deployed a team of volunteers at strategic locations to further drive awareness about safer driving practices at these locations.     In addition, there are various ongoing activities, such as Walkathon, at high visibility locations.
