Kozhikode headquartered Meitra Hospital unveiled a top-notch blood cancer treatment facility under the leadership and expertise of Dr. Ragesh R. This marks the upgrade of the existing setup to the Department of Hematology, Haemato-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant, which is set to provide state-of-the-art treatment for blood cancers like Myeloma, Lymphoma, Leukemia and other blood disorders. Nair gained his MD in Internal Medicine and DM in Clinical Haematology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi and is  a globally published author He is adept at performing adult and pediatric bone marrow transplants for not just malignant blood disorders such as a range of blood cancers, but also for non-malignant blood disorders such asaplastic anemia, sickle cell disease, thalassemia as well as for germ cell tumor, cases of multiple sclerosis, selected cases of systemic sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases.
