Tata Chemicals Limited was recognised in the Large Manufacturing - Trademarks category at the CII Industrial Intellectual Property Award 2023 during the 9th International Conference on IPR held in New Delhi. The award was presented by Dr. R A Mashelkar, Padma Vibhushan, and Former Director-General of CSIR, along with Hon'ble Justice Prathiba M. Singh, a sitting judge of the Delhi High Court.
The CII Industrial Intellectual Property Award aims to celebrate enterprises fostering a culture of intellectual property generation and protection for business and economic growth. It highlights achievements in the public domain, establishes links with academic institutions, and informs the government about IP-driven enterprises, engaging them in policy-making exercises. Tata Chemicals and its subsidiaries cumulatively have filed 204 patent applications.
