OPPO has announced its participation in VivaTech 2023, Europe’s biggest startup and tech event. In its second year at the event, OPPO will showcase innovative solutions from three international startup partners and invite entries to the ongoing 2023 OPPO Inspiration Challenge (The Challenge).
At the opening stage of 2023 OPPO Inspiration Challenge, OPPO and its global technology ecosystem partners aim to call for innovative proposals at this year’s VivaTech event in two categories:
Inspiration for People: innovative solutions for digital health and accessible technology.
Inspiration for the Planet: innovative solutions for environmental protection and low-carbon development.
Through the Challenge, OPPO aims to empower innovators and entrepreneurs worldwide to create life-changing solutions by offering funding, support and partnership opportunities.
At this year's VivaTech, OPPO has invited three technology startups from its ecosystem to present their innovative solutions and share their insights under "Virtuous Innovation":
SolCold: The company aims to provide environmentally friendly, solar-powered cooling solutions through its research and development of outdoor cooling coatings.
Sign Now: The company has developed a web app that provides on-demand sign language interpretation for the deaf and hard of hearing communities.
Alango: The company provides audio/voice/hearing enhancement algorithms that developed BeHear line of forward looking, consumer electronics products for hearing impaired.
Entrants for 2023 OPPO Inspiration Challenge will advance through a series of regional demo events in Bangkok, Boston, and Shenzhen, concluding with a global demo event in Singapore by the end of August, where the top five finalists will be announced. Each of the five winning proposals will receive a grant of US$50,000 (approximately RMB 350,000, tax included). Furthermore, the top 45 proposals worldwide, including the top 15 proposals from each regional challenge, will gain access to an incubation fund and other partnership opportunities.
Those attending VivaTech 2023 are invited to visit the OPPO event from 9:30 – 10:30 AM on June 16 at the Pitch Studio, located at Paris expo Porte de Versailles in France. Everyone is welcome to join OPPO’s e-booth here.
