It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that Master Divyansh Prakash has been selected for one of the most prestigious institutions The Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) Dehradun.
He is the only candidate to get selected from Karnataka and one among the 25 successful candidates from All over India. The exam was conducted in Dec 2022 at all India level and the written result was published on 03-Apr-2023.
His interview was conducted on April 28 and the final All India Merit list came yesterday. All results are on the RIMC website https://rimc.gov.in/rimcindex.aspx
About RIMC
The Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), is an Inter Service Category 'A' establishment, administered through the Headquarters Army Military Training Command (HQ ARTRAC) under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Defence(MoD).
The College is a 'Nursery of Leadership' for institutions like National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla, Officers' Training Academy, Chennai, and Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
The College provides Public School education to young boys in the age group of 11½ to 18 years, specially selected through an All India Competitive Examination.
A dedicated feeder to the National Defence Academy (NDA) and the Naval Academy (NAVAC), the College aims to send maximum Boys to the NDA/NAVAC. Hence it lays utmost emphasis on complete education and all round personality development of the cadets.
The campus is situated within the beautiful backdrop of Dehradun Cantonment, set in the serene Doon valley in the foothills of the Himalayas.

The intake takes place in Class 8th, twice a year, in January and July, through a rigorous selection process comprising of an All India Written Exam,
Personality Interview (of the shortlisted candidates), and medical test.
About Divyansh Prakash
He is 12-year-old and studing in DPS east Bangalore, He is a consistent performer in school as well as Olympiad exams. His favourite subject is Maths. His hobbies include playing football, collecting coins, drawing and playing the keyboard. His father is working as a senior manager in IT MNC and mother worked in public relations but left the job to take care of him and his younger sister.
