Yulu Strengthens Its Leadership Team, Appoints Pradeep Puranam As Head of Revenue & Operations

India’s largest Shared Electric Mobility and Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) company, Yulu, today announced the appointment of Mr. Pradeep Puranam as Head - Revenue & Operations. In this role, Pradeep will focus on driving revenue growth and building efficient operations for the People, Enterprise, & Goods mobility segments using Yulu’s products and services. Pradeep will lead the enthusiastic team of city Business Heads, as well as central teams like Operations Design & Efficiency, and the Central Command Unit, which collectively have more than 500 members currently, as Yulu expands its e-mobility footprint and offerings in the next 5 years. He will own the revenue strategy and execution, scaling operations and launching Yulu’s services in new cities, and building a passionate team that will charge Yulu ahead on its ambition of hyper-growth.

Pradeep comes with over a decade of experience in the consumer internet and e-commerce sectors. He started his professional journey as a software engineer at IBM, where his passion for using technology to solve problems came to the fore. Later, he joined TVS Supply Chain Solutions as part of their leadership program and general management. He also donned multiple hats at Uber, which included launching, growing, and managing markets, building new lines of businesses, and establishing Uber as a reliable mobility platform at scale. Before Yulu, he worked with Udaan, where the focus was mostly on developing supply chain capabilities and operational excellence
