Shiva Prakash Devaraju, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta, Smt Thejaswini Ananthkumar, Chairman and co-founder of Adamya Chetana Foundation, Shri Niranjan Shetty, Actor and Shri Girish Totloor, Zonal Coordinator, Heartfulness flagged off the run.
Speaking at the event, Shri Ravi Subramanya said “Such initiatives beautifully combines physical health, mental well-being, and environmental awareness. The theme, “Run with Heart, Run for Earth,” reminds us that true progress lies in harmony — harmony between people, nature, and the planet we call home. As citizens of this vibrant city, we have a duty to protect our forests, parks, our trees, and our air. Small acts — like planting a sapling, reducing plastic, or choosing sustainable lifestyles — create ripples of change. And when thousands of hearts come together with purpose, that ripple becomes a wave and I congratulate Heartfulness for the efforts in making significant difference throughout its initiatives.”
Smt. Thejaswini said The theme — “Run with Heart, Run for Earth — Deeply resonates with me. At Adamya Chetana, we believe that serving society begins with caring for the world we live in. Whether it is through our Green Initiatives, zero-waste kitchens, or tree-planting drives, we’ve seen how collective action can create real, lasting impact.
Today’s event reminds us that fitness and compassion go hand in hand. When we nurture our inner well-being through mindfulness and extend that same care to nature, we build a stronger, more sustainable future for generations to come.”
Through initiatives like the Green Run, Green Kanha, and Tree for Heart, the Heartfulness Institute continues to inspire mindful living and environmental stewardship across 160+ countries.
