Bengaluru Metro: A Colourful Wait
Purple runs east to west, a royal old steed, Green goes north to south with dependable speed.
Citizens cheer—"At least two colours exist!"—
While the rest are a painter’s half-finished wish list.
Yellow just opened, with August’s proud cheer,
Promising tech parks are suddenly near!
Yet RV Road to Bommasandra feels like a feat,
That took only, oh, a casual decade to complete.
Pink’s in the works, but still shy of the light,
They say 2026… or perhaps "when it’s right."
Blue will reach the airport—just not today,
Please enjoy traffic jams on your holiday.
Orange, Grey, and Red are approved with delight,
They exist in PowerPoint slides late at night.
Phase 3 expansions, they’re all on the way—
Like rain in summer, they may or may not stay.
Majestic’s a maze where the Purple meets Green,
At RV Road, Yellow joins in the scene.
Silk Board will unite Yellow and Blue someday—
Right after the cows on Hosur Road move away.
So here’s to the Metro, our rainbow on track,
Half in the future, half holding back.
A city in traffic, yet full of belief—
That one day our colours will bring us relief.
