* Rolls out the latest software update to enhance user experience
Lava International Ltd, a leading Indian mobile phone company has started to roll out the latest software update for its AGNI 5G smartphone customers. The update will boost the system security with its March 2022 security patch, fix minor bugs and bring some significant improvements to the smartphone’s UI. The new software update will be released as an OTA to the users who will receive a notification, once it reaches them. The users can also manually check the update availability by heading to the Settings app on their device. Lava had promised to provide timely software updates for the AGNI 5G smartphone.
Commenting on the announcement, Tejinder Singh, Head-Product, Lava International said, “Customer centricity has always been the core focus of our business strategy and hence customer feedback is constantly taken into consideration to enhance user experience. Even in case of AGNI, we listened to our customers from Day 1, which led to significant improvements in the device and our after-sales service. To start with, we provided a Dedicated Service Manager-AGNI Mitra to each AGNI 5G smartphone user. We also provided a few enhancements in our wide-angle camera and improved UI through software updates. We persistently strive to improve our products to better suit our customers’ needs and providing this software update is one more step in this direction.”
In the past, Lava also provided a Widevine L1 update to its AGNI 5G customers which enabled 1080p content viewing and seamless OTT streaming on the device. The move was taken to address customers’ feedback and enhance their overall viewing experience on the smartphone.
Lava AGNI- the first Indian 5G smartphone was launched in November last year. The smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ IPS punch-hole display, 8GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. It is powered by 6 nm Mediatek Dimensity 810 chipset and has a 90Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, the phone features 64MP primary camera, along with a 5 MP wide-angle camera, 2 MP depth camera, and a 2 MP macro lens. For selfies, the phone comes with a 16MP front camera. Lava AGNI draws power from a 5,000mAh battery which can be charged with a 30W fast charger. The device supports carrier aggregation and liquid cooling technology. The smartphone is currently available on Lava e-store, Amazon, Flipkart, and offline stores.
