Lam Research Corp. (Nasdaq: LRCX), a global supplier of innovative wafer fabrication equipment to the semiconductor industry, announced the appointment of Mr. Rangesh Raghavan as vice president and general manager of Lam Research India, who will lead the company’s India operations based out of Bengaluru.
In his new role, Rangesh will oversee the company’s India operations and drive the long-term vision and growth strategy for Lam India. He previously served as the vice president of strategic development at Lam’s headquarters in Fremont, California.
Rangesh comes with more than 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Lam in 2013, he served as the vice president of marketing and strategy at Veeco Instruments. His employment experience also includes KLA Corporation, where he served in various marketing and application roles for over a decade, and PDF Solutions, a design-for-manufacturability solutions firm. He began his career at Texas Instruments in the advanced process R&D group.
He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, and an MBA (Honors) from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
