Staying true to its commitment of supporting skill development initiatives and to inculcate the spirit of performance amongst youth, Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd (KNPL), one of the leading paint companies in India, in association with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) announced its unique initiative - ‘Man of the Match’ (MoM) Grant in Bengaluru today.
Kansai Nerolac Paints is one of the team sponsor’s for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The event witnessed Mr. Peeyush Bachlaus, GM – Marketing, Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd., Mr. Sanjeev Churiwala, Chairman of Royal Challengers Bangalore and RCB’s star players handing over a cheque of INR 700,000 to Mr. Basavaprabhu Patil of the NGO, Vimochana Sangha, an organization which works towards the cause of skill building and creating livelihood opportunities for the unemployed youth in the state of Karnataka.
Furthermore, a captivating documentary highlighting the fruition of Kansai Nerolac’s skill development initiatives at the grassroots level in the remote villages of Uttarakhand and Sikkim west, were showcased at the event.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Peeyush Bachlaus, GM – Marketing, Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. said, “At Nerolac, we believe that livelihood and skill enhancement is imperative to driving the growth trajectory and development of our country. This became even more critical to us when we made a small beginning by visiting remote parts of our country as part of our skill development programme. Majority of our current population comprises of the youth who are eager to learn and waiting to realise their potential. Our Man of the Match grant is inspired by these thoughts and aids in empowering the youth and transforming their lives by enhancing their skills through classroom and practical training by our experts. We remain committed to this cause and look forward to taking this initiative to many more parts of the country.”
The MoM Grant will match the Man of the Match amount presented in each of the home games played by Royal Challengers Bangalore, amounting to a sum of INR 700,000 cumulatively.

We are pleased that the grant is allocated to the unemployed youth of Karnataka for their skill development this time around.
