Features of DreamLabo 5000
The DreamLabo 5000 is set to revolutionize the
photo production printing market by utilizing Canon’s renowned inkjet photo
printing technology on the production scale. With highest levels of precision
printing at outstanding speeds and the absence of harmful chemicals, the
DreamLabo 5000 provides superior alternative to conventional silver halide
technology. The DreamLabo 5000 features a high-density print head, enabling
over 300 mm wide printing output and incorporates Canon’s FINE
(Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology. When used in
combination with the automatic double-sided printing function up to 12x25 inch
size, the DreamLabo 5000 is capable of printing approximately 1000 pages of A4
size content and 2300 pages of 4x6’ size content per hour.
DreamLabo 5000 uses a seven-color dye-based ink system that
delivers smooth gradation. Employing image processing technology that makes use
of the full range of Canon’s unique inkjet printing color gamut, the new
printer enables the output of photo images with a level of color representation
which comprehensively surpasses that of conventional silver halide.
