Quixey, the mobile search technology company has announced the
promotion of Dr. Rajat Mukherjee to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this
role, Mukherjee will lead product and engineering, and build and bring mobile
search innovations to market that rethink the mobile app experience. For the
past year Mukherjee has served as vice president of product at Quixey, leading
the product development of the next generation of mobile search platforms that
enable deep search within apps.

execution. Rajat’s impressive background and extensive knowledge of Quixey’s
technology make him the perfect person to help lead this forward.”
Mukherjee held leadership positions at both startups and large
companies within consumer and enterprise. Most notably is Mukherjee’s extensive
experience in search. As a group product manager at Google, he was the product
lead for search ads automation and worked closely on custom search, enterprise
search, alerts, related search and more.Following
Google, he led product at Lexity building automated marketing tools for
ecommerce. Lexity was acquired by Yahoo in 2013. He also held
positions as senior director of software engineering at Verity working on
enterprise search, and subsequently was senior director of product management
at Yahoo working on web search. He started his career at IBM Research after
earning his Ph.D. in computer engineering from Rice University. Mukherjee graduated
with a Bachelor of Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and
holds multiple software patents.

for its solutions continue to grow at a rapid pace.
