Emirates Celebrates One Year of A380 Operations in Bengaluru


* The airline marks a milestone of operating its flagship A380 service to Bengaluru, carrying more than 700,000 passengers in first year of operations

* Anniversary coincides with introduction of four-class Emirates A380 aircraft featuring brand new Premium Economy cabins

* Emirates is the only airline to offer signature A380 service in the State of Karnataka 

Emirates today celebrates the first anniversary of providing its signature A380 services to Bengaluru. In addition to marking a successful year of operations on the double-decker aircraft to Karnataka, today also sees the introduction of the Premium Economy offering on its services from Bengaluru, allowing customers to have more choice when planning their travel. 

One year ago, Emirates proudly introduced its flagship A380 aircraft on the route from Dubai to the Silicon Valley of India. The much-loved aircraft has become a symbol of luxury, comfort, and cutting-edge aviation technology, enchanting passengers with its unparalleled signature services, including its iconic Onboard Lounge and Shower Spa. 

Since its introduction in 2022, the iconic aircraft has carried over 700,000 passengers on the route between Bengaluru and Dubai. Furthermore, Emirates is the only airline in Bengaluru operating the world’s largest passenger aircraft.  

As Emirates celebrates one year of A380 operations to the Indian city, the airline’s Premium Economy cabins today made a debut on its A380 services in India, including Mumbai and Bengaluru.
