At the event, Ms. Savitha Ranga walked the audiences through the purpose of a conceptual creative studio and the relevance of its necessity in an urban city like Bangalore. She also shared information about the various visual and performing art workshops available at the center. This was followed by, Kishore Chitragar an ancestral Kinnala artist who showcased the true beauty of the dying art of Kinnala for all present at the launch. Mr. Ramesh Aravind who tried his hand at the pottery wheel was an example of how artistic expression can bring emotional well-being in everyday living.
Over the last 6 years, The Hobby Place, Mysore has been one of the most popular creative spaces for adults and children to experience and appreciate art and culture through unique events, regular classes, and workshops from artists from all over the country, all year round. It is a vibrant art center and a platform where visual artists and performing artists come together to create, learn, teach, inspire, exhibit and perform.

The event culminated with a live expression of art on an easel, wherein attendees painted their emotions on the canvas using various art mediums.
