NAREDCO 14th National Development Council & Exhibition to Chalk Out Post GST and RERA Industry Blue Print


The Karnataka Chapter of National Real Estate Development Council “NAREDCO Karnataka” is all head up for NAREDCO 14th National Convention to be held in New Delhi on August 28 & 29, 2017. The 2 days convention will represent Karnataka Realty Sector; and will help take the provincial real estate sector on the national Diaspora. Strategic partnership with real estate and allied industries in rest of India, cross pollination of knowledge, resources, and personnel are the conventions key ingredients.

 The theme of this year’s Convention is “India Real Estate– Unfolding the new era of growth.” Against this backdrop, NAREDCO Karnataka chapter will explore various issues including transforming of Smart Cities & development of its real estate sector post-GST & RERA. The 2 days National Convention will witness Bureaucrats, Policy Makers, Experts, Leaders, Real Estate and Private Equity Players all under one roof.

Addressing the press conference organized to announce NAREDCO’s 14th National Convention,  Shakuntala Iyer, Chairperson, NAREDCO Karnataka said, “The time is just perfect for the real estate vertical owing to the favorable climate and noteworthy developments. Despite the fact that Post demonetization energies went low, the implementation of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act and the Goods and Services Tax (GST) has infused a new zeal in this sector. This convention will bring forth a lot of ideas and inputs from national and international experts for re-strategising and accelerate business growth.  The state being a part of the signature event would facilitate increased insight and enthusiasm for the sector”.

Manoj Lodha, President, NAREDCO Karnataka said, “Real estate sector is one of the important sectors for every state and for the country as a whole, as it plays a vital role in India’s and state’s economy. With its multiplier effect, it has tremendous potential to drive the overall economic growth. It generates employment and its linkages with ancillary industries such as steel, paint, cement etc. make it an important sector. This national convention will give the common platform to International & National real estate players to exchange new technology ideas and open investment opportunities in the state like Karnataka which has 7 Smart Cities i.e. Bangalore, Belagavi, Davanagere, Hubli-Dharwad, Mangaluru, Shivamogga & Tumakuru.

Along with the National Convention, an exhibition to display new properties, technologies, products and materials for the benefit of the participants will also be organized at the same venue.
NAREDCO and its state chapters work in close coordination with central and various state governments to achieve its objectives, that is, promotion of housing and real estate sector in India and inculcate transparency and accountability for the benefit of the customers.
